This year is no exception, as the 1955 slated to be presented to one lucky showgoer at Beech Bend Raceway features a Chevrolet Performance LS3 crate engine under the hood. The gears are controlled by a SuperMatic 4L70-E four-speed automatic transmission.
The car will be presented at 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 11, as the event concludes. Each registration fee includes an automatic entry to win the 1955 Chevy. The cost to register a vehicle in the Tri-Five Nationals is $65, which is good for two people across all days of the event: August 9-11. Registrations must be in by noon on Saturday and the winner must be present at the time of the drawing.
We think this car would look pretty good in our garage, but it also looks pretty good on computers and phones. You can download a hi-res desktop image below.
We’ll be on the ground all three days of the event looking for cool Chevrolet Performance-related stories. Keep watching The BLOCK and @theblockdotcom on Instagram and visit www.trifivenationals.com for more information.
