One of the absolute highlights of the Danchuk Tri-Five Nationals each year is the drag racing program. From participants making fun runs, to wild wheelstanders, to sub-seven second Pro Mod-style cars that reach over 200 miles per hour, the event runs the gamut of the drag racing world.

A variety of classes, such as the Speedway Gasser Challenge, were part of this year’s event on the famed Beech Bend Raceway quarter-mile. Of course, each class was made up solely of Tri-Five Chevrolets. Fans filled the vintage covered grandstands lining the track during each session, providing one of the more intimate settings in all of motorsports.

Check out the photo gallery below for stunning shots of all the drag racers in action, including plenty of burnouts and sky-high wheelstands.
