Jeff Montgomery’s pristine 1963 Corvette Sting Ray looks like it was built in a specialty shop. After all, it was surrounded by those kinds of vehicles during this year’s SEMA Show. However, Montgomery has owned the car for nearly 50 years and did all the mechanical work himself.

Cupid | LS3-powered 1928 Brookville Roadster RPU | 2019 SEMA Show

This wild 1928 Brookville Roadster RPU is powered by a Chevrolet Performance LS3 crate engine. It is backed by a T56 Super Magnum six-speed manual transmission to complete the Connect & Cruise Crate Powertrain Package and create a true hot rod. The car, known as “Cupid,” was built for the Hot Wheels Legends Tour and reflects the passion of automotive enthusiasts everywhere.

The Ultimate Truck: Brad Apicella’s LSA-powered 1952 Chevrolet 3100

Brad Apicella’s builds are truly works of art. That was apparent during the 2019 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Throughout the week, his blue 1952 Chevrolet 3100 pickup sat shimmering in the Doug Thorley Headers booth, within sight of the Chevrolet Performance display. The truck drew in a constant stream of passersby who lingered over the impeccable build.
